The Zambia National Service has been named Overall Champions in Beef Exhibition at the 98th Agriculture and Commercial Show in Lusaka, reaffirming its growing role in livestock production and national food security.
A Sweep Across Multiple Categories
The Zambia National Service (ZNS) emerged as Overall Champions in Beef Exhibition at the recently concluded 98th Agriculture and Commercial Show, underscoring its expanding contribution to livestock production nationally. Beyond the overall title, ZNS claimed first prize in the Beef Junior Bull (Cross Breed) Exhibition and first prize in the Best Demonstration Plots, Defence Forces (Leafy Vegetation) Exhibition.
The Service also secured second prize in the Best Agro Value Addition Exhibition, reflecting its continued strength in agricultural production and value-added processing.
Recognised for Sponsorship Too
ZNS additionally received a Platinum Sponsorship Award in recognition of its generous sponsorship and support toward the successful hosting of this year’s Show. The Service said the awards collectively reflect its ongoing commitment to advancing agriculture, livestock production and agro-processing in line with its broader mandate of contributing to Zambia’s socio-economic transformation.
