Transparency International Zambia has recorded a 100 percent Integrity Index in the presidential results announced by the Electoral Commission of Zambia in four constituencies, finding no discrepancy between its monitors’ figures and official results.

A Clean Bill on Results Integrity

Transparency International Zambia (TI-Zambia) recorded a 100 percent Integrity Index following an assessment using its election monitoring index, covering results from Chisamba in Central Province, Dongwe in North-Western Province, Feira in Lusaka Province, and Kundabwika in Northern Province. The organisation said the score means results gathered by its own monitors were fully consistent with those officially announced by ECZ, with no discrepancy found between ECZ’s figures and those collected by its monitors and other stakeholders.

The finding was shared in an update on TI-Zambia’s Facebook page, monitored by ZNBC.

Full Breakdown from Dongwe

In Dongwe Constituency, North-Western Province, UPND presidential candidate Hakainde Hichilema led with 6,848 votes, followed by Brian Mundubile with 143. Harry Kalaba recorded 20 votes, Kelvin Bwalya Fube 18, Given Chansa eight, Fred M’membe seven, Given Katuta six, Richard Silumbe four, Richwell Siamunene three, and Howard Kunda and Brian Mushimba two each. Daniel Pule polled one vote, while Ackim Njovbu recorded no votes in the constituency.
